A Long Line of tradition
B.M.L. Tool & Manufacturing Corporation first opened its doors for business in 1968. The company started off with three partners Philip Battaglia, Joeseph Legen, and Charles Mossma. The company started in a two car garage with a hand full of machinery. Starting in the 1970's, the company moved in too a new facility on Frank Street in Bridgeport, CT. Over a period of fifteen years, the company saw change with two additions and the hiring of a many more new employees.
In the mid 1980s, B.M.L moved to 91 Kenwood Avenue in Fairfield, CT. Where more employees and new machinery came into the business including CAD/CAM, Wire EDM, and much more. In 1996, B.M.L. put another addition onto its Kenwood facility for a manufacturing wing. By then the company had Ten, well experienced tool makers. A healthy balance of toolmaking and Manufacturing made B.M.L. a unstoppable force in many industries across Connecticut and on the East Coast.
Now over 40 years later, B.M.L. has moved again to a new facility that was designed and built for them. The current B.M.L. company now is home to 67 Enterprise Drive in Monroe, CT. a 38,000 sq ft facility nestled in the hills of western Connecticut. B.M.L. still stays true to its core competency -Tool & Die making. And is now supported by precision CNC machining, a Engineering Department, and a even bigger manufacturing wing that is a host to several presses and assembly operations.
